Ultrasonography

We are currently utilizing a Pico Portable Ultrasound Machine with three probes for the interpretation of soft tissue in small animals. This is another valuable diagnostic tool which is a non-evasive, pain free procedure. It allows us to examine the architecture of internal organs in more detail then an x-ray.

The ultrasound is most often used for:

  • Abdominal ultrasound
  • Reproductive ultrasound
  • Pregnancy diagnosis
  • Urinary bladder diseases
  • Soft tissue mass examinations
