Kaila Clary

I’m a born and raised Island girl, spoiled by all that the Comox Valley has to offer. As far as I can remember I have always had a passion to help animals. As a little girl you’d find me taking care of all the animals I could find, from kittens and puppies to bunnies, birds, snakes, fawns – you name it! After graduating high school, I always found careers that allowed me to work with animals.

In 2012 I started working in Veterinary Med as a Veterinary Assistant where I found my passion and never looked back. I am fascinated by the medical world we work in and the reward of helping each individual animal is unmatched!  I joined the Van Isle team in 2019 after taking a year off from welcoming my son, and in 2022 I took on a new adventure accepting the role of Assistant Manager.

If I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my son, playing Baseball and Dodgeball, enjoying the outdoors and snuggling with our three kitties – Wesley, Wendell and Winston. On top of that we have taken on the adventure of fostering SPCA kittens each summer – there’s never a dull minute!
