Amy Granacki

Registered Veterinary Technician, CCR

Ever since I was a young girl, I knew my calling was to work was with animals. I graduated in 2004 from University of Guelph Ridgetown. In 2014 I finished the Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner course through the University of Tennessee. I became part of the Van Isle family in 2010 when I relocated to Vancouver Island. I only dropped off one resume on the island because I knew this was the top-notch facility I wanted to be part of. I am certified in canine rehabilitation and this is my passion. I love that I am able to provide owners with the tools to give the best quality of life for their pets, it is truly remarkable what a little guidance and love can achieve. My first pet was a black and white Domestic Short Hair named Vega. I love my job because of the reward of having an animal with a very low quality of life return to being active and part of the family again! There is nothing better than helping a sore animal regain their mobility. Our hospital is very diverse, there are so many people interested in different areas which makes us a great all in one package. I feel there is very little that our family cannot take care of. Fun fact about myself I try to live like my glass is always filled. I do my best to stay happy and positive as much as I can because this industry is not always easy.
