Registered Veterinary Technician

I grew up with all kinds of animals, and have always had a love for them. My first pet was Maverick, the best mutt ever. I was introduced to veterinary medicine through work experience at my high school and applied to the veterinary technician program after graduation. Van Isle was always our family’s regular veterinary hospital growing up, and during technician school, I completed one of my working practicums at Van Isle Veterinary Hospital. I was excited to officially join the team as a registered veterinary technician after graduation from the AHT program in 2009. I enjoy many aspects of veterinary medicine, and love working closely with the animals, as well as the wide variety of skills we utilize every day, but have a special interest in canine behaviour. My favourite thing about our hospital is the variety of interesting cases we see daily, and the great relationships we make with our patients. Fun fact about myself, I enjoy spending most of my free time camping and exploring the outdoors with my other half, James, as well as riding horses, and adventuring with my dogs, Missy and Duke.
