We are so excited to announce the newest team member at Van Isle Vet Hospital! Dr. Judy McFarlen has come to us with over 25 yrs of veterinary experience, graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1988. Dr. McFarlen has extensive expertise in ultrasonography and her passion lies in dentistry, dental surgery, nutritional medicine and building bonds with her patients as well as special relationships with her team. Judy has recently published her second book – Bone Broth Diet for Pets which provides a simple, soulful super-food nutrition for pet’s weight loss, anti-inflammatory, paleo and joint health.
Dr. McFarlen is excited to be a new member of our community and is looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of our two and four-legged friends. Judy enjoys the outdoors and is looking forward to exploring this beautiful Island she now calls home!!
