Dr. Yvette Maclean

Veterinarian
Dr. Yvette MacLean was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and completed her Bachelor of Science in 2002 at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax. In 2006, she graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, P.E.I. with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Yvette decided to move to the Comox Valley with her husband Devin, to start her career as a companion animal associate at Van Isle Veterinary Hospital. This is where she has developed a special interest in soft tissue surgery. Dr. MacLean has loved animals throughout her whole life and grew up with dogs, cats and horses. When she’s not working, Yvette spends her days chasing after her two dogs Layla and Nuala, her cat Jake and her three young sons! Yvette stays active by running, swimming, biking and hiking but also enjoys playing the piano and reading for a little downtime.
